About

Pascal Leclerc, Founder and Managing Director of SAGICAP, holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Financial Management from the University of Grenoble II (France) and is a former fellow of the Institut de Haute Finance (IHFi - Paris, France).

 

He is also registered in Luxembourg as Economic Advisor (“Conseil Economique”) through a business license delivered by the Luxembourg Ministry of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses.

 

Pascal benefits from 28 years of experience in fund management, structuring and administration, having previously worked at:

- SI Finance, Paris (the Private Equity arm of the Suez Group) as CFO and Portfolio Manager (from 1995 to 1996),

- Caceis Bank Luxembourg, as Head of the Private Equity Department (from 1997 to 2000).

 

From 2006 to 2007, Pascal headed Mourant Luxembourg, the Luxembourg subsidiary of an international alternative investment fund administration group and was further appointed early 2008 Head of EFA Private Equity, the Private Equity & Real Estate fund administration business unit launched by European Fund Administration (EFA).

 

From 2013 to 2017, Pascal was the Managing Director of Colony NorthStar Luxembourg Sàrl, the Luxembourg arm of Colony NorthStar Group, a private real estate investment firm.

 

Pascal is now a board member of the Alternative Investment Fund Management Company (“AIFM”) Astorg Asset Management, managing a 2bn European private equity fund.

 

Since 1995 he has been acting as director / fund manager of various regulated and non-regulated Private Equity & Real Estate investment structures in Continental Europe and is a member of the Luxembourg Institute of Directors (ILA).

 

Over the last 17 years Pascal Leclerc has drafted and led various courses and seminars covering financial analysis, Private Equity and Real Estate.

 

Pascal is also a member of ALFI’s Professional Training Committee and acts as Coordinator of the Alternative Investments expert team covering Private Equity training programs organized in partnership with the House of Training, Luxembourg.
